Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
Back in 2012 when I first started college, a friend of mine worked at this cute little tea shop down the road from my school. It had all different kinds of delicious teas and a small bakery counter with seasonal goodies that I’d often not leave without sampling.
One chilly Autumn day in particular, I noticed the most delicious looking pumpkin chocolate chip cookies staring at me from behind the glass.
Well, one bite and my life was forever changed.
Paying a visit to grab some pumpkin cookies became a regular thing, until, of course, winter started and they were no longer in season.
I begged my friend for the recipe, as these cookies were nothing like I’d ever tasted before. It took time, but she eventually brought me a torn off piece of yellow paper with the recipe she secretly scribbled on it at work one night.
I guarded it with my life for a few years, lost it, found it again, and now I have it locked up in a vault so I’ll never have to live without it again.
With that said, I think you should give them a try . . .
